ArieCan Productions: Pioneering Creativity and Community Impact

By Tammy Reese

In the dynamic world of entertainment, two remarkable screenwriters, Larry Harris and Leonard Martin, have emerged as trailblazers, not only for their outstanding productions under ArieCan Productions but also for their commitment to nurturing talent in their community. Founded in 2016, ArieCan Productions was born out of Larry and Leonard’s shared vision to create content that resonates with their audience. Hailing from Baltimore, they recognized the abundance of untapped talent in their city and decided to take matters into their own hands.

“It starts with a dream,” says Leonard, reflecting on the inception of ArieCan Productions. The duo embarked on a challenging yet rewarding journey of learning by doing, turning their passion for storytelling into a resounding success. Their production company has become a hub for innovative film and TV creations, captivating audiences on various online and streaming platforms. Beyond the screen, Larry and Leonard are making a significant impact on their community. Acknowledging the underappreciated talent in Baltimore, they established a six-week film course in partnership with local schools. This initiative not only empowers children with filmmaking skills but also opens doors to creative possibilities they might not have otherwise explored. Their commitment to community engagement recently earned them well-deserved recognition on local news.
