That pressure was harder for me than me facing the fear of leaving the familiar,” Solange said. “To pursue your life, you have to have an inner dialect that helps you believe in your gut more than the people you trust.” Contrary to possible misconception, her name wasn't plucked from the family tree to match the noted sister of superstar entertainer Beyoncé Knowles-Carter; instead, it's a homage to a beloved relative, her aunt. Embracing her nickname "Solo," she exudes a radiant energy that attracts people, earning her the title of a "glow getter" in the circles she frequents. “People around me vibrate on my light, energy, and shine factor and I am a go-getter. If you put the mindset with the vibe, you get glow-getter,” Solange said.
Dancing has been Solange's muse since a tender age, and she honed her skills over years of dedicated practice. From the lively decks of cruise ships, where she graced audiences with her artistry for two decades, to the enchanting streets of New York, her journey was one of perpetual growth and exploration. Despite initially yearning for the bustling city life of New York, she discovered that her heart's desires lay in the sprawling entertainment mecca of Los Angeles. This revelation led her to relocate to Germany temporarily before finally settling in Los Angeles in December 2017, where she embarked on a quest to manifest her creative ambitions. Since moving to LA, she has danced with some of the world's most renowned artists, allowing her to travel and perform in different music genres. But Solange's journey transcends the confines of traditional dance floors. During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, she unveiled another facet of her multifaceted persona with the release of her book, "Solo Jump." “The book is based upon the rules I live my life by,” Solange said. “I only set goals when I feel them. When I have the download where I can see this picture is in alignment with who I am, I just go for it.”
