Can you give us an overview of your company and the services it provides in both public relations and media?

As a 2X Award-Winning Journalist and owner of Edmonds Media Empire, I offer bespoke content creation and comprehensive public relations services to elevate brands and individuals to new heights of success. Complete within days, not weeks.

At Edmonds Media Empire we amplify your reach by getting your story showcased in numerous publications, including 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐠𝐨 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐁𝐋𝐊, 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲, 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭, 𝐔𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 and more.

How did you initially become interested in both journalism and public relations, and what motivated you to merge these two fields into your career?

My authenticity and enthusiasm for lifestyle, travel, and journalism led me to become a creator.

When I was just 7 years old, I discovered my love for creative writing and began to cultivate it. I actively pursued opportunities to express myself through poetry and other writing projects, and my passion only grew stronger with time. One of my most notable achievements in this realm was winning the most outspoken award during a poetry competition, where I recited my original poem entitled ‘I am somebody’, which focused on themes of affirmations and speaking life and positivity into oneself and others.

Taking creative writing as an elective was one of the best things I’ve ever done. It allowed me authentically be myself by expressing myself and everyday thoughts. Working in both fields as both a celebrity journalist and PR specialist has been very rewarding. I’ve obtained credits off & on the scenes of numerous platforms, including; BET Networks, Urban One Honors, NAACP Image Awards and the list continues.
