Motivational Speaker and Philanthropist Kessa Gooden Seeks to Change Lives
Kessa Gooden is passionate about helping others around the world improve their quality of life. She has been working in the philanthropy field for over 12 years and has been able to help over 3,400 people. She seeks to impact, influence, and elevate her community and those she encounters.
Please tell us about yourself.
I am a Les Brown-certified international motivational speaker, a mom of three kids, and a philanthropist I also love bringing opportunity to others by connecting the dots and creating relationships that will help build up one’s network so that they can have a sustainable net worth. I am a CEO of multiple companies and I value all human lives. I am a voice for the voiceless, and I am here to make sure that when I leave this earth others will know that I did exist. I am here to make a difference.
What does being an entrepreneur mean to you?
I hold being an entrepreneur as a key to your success in life and to building a legacy!
What is your mission?
My mission is to help pave the way and show others how to acquire success on all levels of life by building legacies and changing lives around the world.
What is unique about your business?
My nonprofit organization gets people together at local and national events to network and connect to build their net worth, while learning and growing at the same time. We are a community of like-minded individuals that are looking to get to the next level or to sustain the level that we are on already.
What is your approach to making big-picture decisions?
I am very direct when it comes to my mission and my vision, so I select my decisions after careful consideration, yet promptly.
What challenges did you have to overcome at the beginning of your journey?
I had to overcome many challenges in life, including poverty, homelessness, addiction to alcohol, abandonment issues, family issues, and business failures. I also strive to be a single mom of three children. I was a teen mom; my journey was not easy, but I persevered and overcame. Now, I can use what I’ve been through to help others get through their own journey.
What inspires you?
Lately I’ve been inspired by my late friend Ryan Long, who was an event promotion producer from Hollywood. He would put on events for celebrities like Halle Berry, Matthew McConaughey, Wesley Snipes, and many other A-listers. He has inspired me to do the same for my nonprofit organization to raise funds so that we can benefit the community.
What is your message to our Heart Of Hollywood Magazine readers?
My message is this. They said, don’t judge a book by its cover, but I will say don’t just judge the book; learn from it, read it, understand it, and implement it. Then your life can change.
Also, on my website, I have information about an event coming up. It will be held from May 20th to May 22nd in Miami. I would love to invite others to that event. It’s in memory of my late friend who inspires me, Ryan Long.
