The Heart Of Hollywood Magazine Launch Party returned after a three-year absence. This was indeed a magnificent event not to be missed. Giovanna Salas was a master with her team in creating a memorable evening that brought people together safely and harmoniously.
Giovanna is great at meeting people where they are and making them feel at home while paying attention to every detail, down to the surprise birthday cake for her team, for their collaboration and help to put the event on and supporting her vision.
During our interview with world-renowned Anita Lain, the cover model for the next edition of the Heart of Hollywood Magazine, we discovered how down-to-earth and endearing she is, regardless of all her fame. Putting it another way, her genuineness and authenticity touched us.
Anita Lain on managing stress
Q: Tell us about you.
I'm a model, an actor, and in the medical field. I love caring for older adults because I connect with them and their families. I have five boys and 12 grandchildren. I love what I do.
Q: How do you handle the stress of dealing with everything?
I mostly pray and meditate and then work out twice a week.
Q: You look so elegant. What type of workout are you doing?
I belong to a gym and work out with a personal trainer one-on-one twice a week. I do planks and ball squats. That hurts. But it feels so good in the end.
Q: Do you follow a specific diet?
No, I eat everything. I am very active, so I burn many calories that way!
Q: So, how do you make time for yourself?
That's hard. The only time I have is when I travel and do runway shows and events. I'm caring for my mom and working as a care manager. So it's tough not to be stressed, but you must keep focusing.

Q: How did that feel when you learned that you were chosen as the cover of the next issue?
It felt amazing. I cried like a baby. Finally, my vision and my dreams came true. Giovanna and her team were very supportive and kept in contact with me. It's just been amazing.
Q: Do you have any tips for aspiring models?
I'll tell every model, actor, singer, rapper, and dancer. Don't ever give up. When you want to give up, look in that mirror and say, "You got this!" because everybody will get a no. Don't take it to heart; maybe it wasn't your time. Just keep trying. I did it, and look at me!
Q: Where can people find you?
On Instagram @iamanitalain_stigler
Anamaria Valerya, actor and model on staying young
Q: Tell us a little about who you are.
I was born and raised in Moldova. I grew up being a professional dancer, and fitness was essential to my life, training at least two hours daily. Growing up, I got into the habit of being in shape and keeping a healthy diet.
As I get older, I realize it is good for us because women age differently than men. So we have to watch our diet and our fitness routine. So having all this formal training and bringing it into my daily life is genuinely paying off.
Q: I understand that you love doing stunt work and you're also involved in martial arts.
I just started Qwan Ki Do, which is Chinese and Vietnamese fighting.
Q: Have you suffered injuries along the way?
This is very personal, but I will share it with you regardless. As a young dancer, I broke both my arms. Later, as a result of hard training, I started incurring back pain.
Q: How do you manage pain?
I stretch, do yoga, massages, and recently started cryotherapy. It helps a lot. I don't believe in pharma, so I always seek natural alternatives to relieve pain.
Q: Do you follow a specific diet?
I am primarly pescaterian.
Q: What brought you to Los Angeles
Following the American dream and working every day for it. Los Angeles is a city where you have a lot of different worlds combined, and if you have what it takes to put in the effort, you can achieve great results.
Q: Where can people find you?
You can find me on Instagram @AnnamariaValerya.
Dr. Poonam Gupta on her skincare routine
Q: You have beautiful skin; what's your secret?
My secrets are
I eat healthily
I try to sleep as much as I can
I clean my skin with a scrub every day
Put on sunscreen
I also make my own hyaluronic acid serum for the morning. Because I am a chemist, I do everything for myself.
As the evening progressed, we found interviewing so many amazing guests enthralling, especially recounting their personal stories of triumph over adversity.
While not everyone is a celebrity in the limelight, following these self-care tips for mental health and living young can make anyone feel like a superstar.
