Heart of Hollywood Magazine readers, please enjoy our interview!
What does fashion mean to you and what made you decide to get into the industry?
Fashion for me is a way to introduce myself without having to say a word. What made me get into fashion was a Vanidadez magazine that I picked up in Mexico when I was 5. I knew then that I had found my tribe. It took me over 25 years to circle around to that moment and find my niche but I'm carving it out now.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style can be described as urban chic. I bring together the ruggedness of the city and put it together with high fashion. I love wearing a pair of joggers, a hoodie, and a baseball cap then I pair it with a statement handbag and stilettos.
What have been some of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I strongly feel that each project that I have ever worked on has been memorable in its own way but there is one that makes my heart smile everytime I think about it. The moment Beth Swanson, CEO of Phomaz Handbags asked me to style her handbags for an ad in British Vogue. The ad was placed in 3 separate issues <3 I remember praying for this!!
What are some of your future aspirations as you continue to pursue your career?
I am looking forward to pushing boundaries with my styling and growing with fellow creatives in the industry. I really consider it a privilege to be able to tell a story through wardrobe in this manner and hope to share this in some iconic spaces.
