Jewelz Foundation Partners with Local NJ Boutique to Collect Toys and Gifts for Youth at The Anchor

By Tammy Reese

This past weekend, motivational speaker, author, and talk show host, Kendra Hall partnered with Flow Clothing & Apparel in Ewing, New Jersey to call out the community in philanthropic efforts, benefiting the youth.

They asked families, community leaders and local business owners to contribute to their first annual toy drive with new toys, new coats, new clothes and gift cards, as well as monetary donations they will gift to The Anchor House, for vulnerable youth.

New Jersey ranks 4th in the country for teenage births; in 2020, recorded 13,929 homeless students. Further, many teenage girls are unaware of tactics used by potential human traffickers to lure their attention online. While these statistics are higH, they represent real students facing difficult situations. Many of these situations can be prevented with awareness, mentorship, and support.

Jewelz Foundation Incorporated operates the KNOW MORE program for upper-elementary through college-age students. These mentorships and workshops focus on youth pregnancy prevention, domestic violence awareness, sex trafficking prevention, and homelessness resources. Founder, Kendra Hall, participates through awareness of the issues, signs to look out for, and ways to care for our youth, despite difficult circumstances.

At their First Annual Toy Drive, they offered live music by TC Lewis, pictures with Santa, light refreshments, and a warm community of support from their team and volunteers. The community was able to learn about the organization's initiatives, as well as connect and discover ways they can get involved with upcoming projects and events.

The organizations founder, Kendra Hall has a triumphant testimony of Transformation, which fuels the mission behind all her entrepreneurial and philanthropic endeavors. She champions to advocate for underprivileged, unheard, and underestimated youth. Kendra, credits much of her early success to the available connections and resources she was able to find who offered safe and reliable help to her journey. Because of this, she now strives to be a consistent and impactful resource herself for those who struggled in similar circumstances.
