Meet Shanna Toft: Model and Actress

Please tell us more about your occupation or business. What sets you apart from others in your field, what do you love about what you do, and how did you get to where you are today?

I was a performer from toddler age, putting on little shows at home. I participated in theater, choir, and dance in school and I loved every minute of it. My parents didn't think acting was a good career choice, so I majored in business and got multiple degrees in that field. I'm really good at business, but it brings me joy to bring entertainment to others. A sweet friend of mine gave me the push I needed to get back into acting several years ago, and I went to my first audition in a long time. It went really well and I started working on commercials, TV shows, movies, and industrial videos while making connections along the way. Now, I rarely audition anymore and I am requested for roles more often than not.

What's your dream, your ultimate goal? Do you feel like you're on the path to this goal, or do you feel as if you already achieved that dream?

I am definitely on the right path to my ultimate goal. I've met and worked with many celebrities, but my bucket list celebrities to work with are Keanu Reeves, Meryl Streep, Ryan Reynolds, and Jennifer Lawrence. My philanthropic goal is to feed as many disadvantaged children as possible.

Please tell us about yourself?

Shanna Toft grew up in the Austin, Texas area and participated in theater, choir, and dance all through school. She added modeling in her early college years and her modeling debut was as a live Barbie for Mattel. Though she acted for years in school, her professional acting took the course of working as an extra/background/stand-in in Dallas before gaining her first television role in the UK as the wife of a bank robber in a documentary reconstruction. Shanna continues to work in theater, commercials, music videos, television, and film as well as modeling.
