Ten years ago, everything changed for actress/producer Michelle Romano.Nominated for Best Lead Actress in a feature film, Michelle flew to France, and accepted the biggest win of her career. Not only did she win big at the Nice International Film Festival, but her film, which she starred in and produced, also had its world premiere screening at the prestigious Festival de Cannes.
Despite any criticism she had endured up until this point in her life, for having such high ambitions, this was the Cinderella moment she needed to keep going. Her time in France was life changing as it helped to validate her dreams of being a working actress and producer in the industry for years to come.
Now, ten years later, Romano is returning to Cannes where it all began. She is coordinating an industry event on the Croisette, filming a role in a new movie, and unveiling a magazine cover/feature that is honoring her achievements in the film industry.
Michelle founded her production company, Roman Media in 2010. She is known for her film/tv projects as well as her industry events. Roman Media hosted it’s annual Pre-Oscars Event in Hollywood this April. It was the first post-pandemic event in 3 years, and Romano teamed up once again with Celebrity Fashion Designer, Shekhar Rahate. Michelle Romano is a member of SAG-AFTRA, the Producers Guild of America (PGA), Women in Film (WIF), and the National Television Academy (NATAS). She is currently signed on to produce several projects in the coming year, including a drama series that she will pitch during the festival.
