What does music mean to you?
Music to me is therapeutic. I am able to express myself through music and also can tell my story through my music.
Define the moment you knew you were walking in your divine purpose and that the music industry was for you.
I knew that music was my calling when every time I would go to jail and come home God would bring me opportunities to get back on top again. It’s like I could go on a vacation and still come home and lap dudes that have been in the streets the whole time. Also, just the fact that my career has elevated higher and higher each year is confirmation I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing. I’m enjoying the journey and the process.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, how do you navigate being a father, while having a work-life, and self-care balance within a demanding industry?
To be honest mental health is very important because if I’m not ok then I can’t help anyone else. I make sacrifices to make sure I will be in my kid's life because that’s important to me to be a good role model for them. It’s not easy balancing my time but since I’m always working I shut my phones off on Sundays (if I’m not booked) and just spend the whole day catching up on rest and meditating and just relaxing alone.
You’re currently starring in “Pure Finesse” which is the #1 most popular movie on Tubi right now. As well as you’re currently in production for your reality series “For The Love Of Ponzo”. What other tv and film projects can we be on the lookout for from you?
Yeah, it’s a great feeling to be a main actor in the number one most Popular movie “Pure Finesse”. And the reality show “For The Love Of Ponzo” show is actually out now on the Next Network you can download it on Roku Tv or Amazon Fire Stick. Your music views and fanbase continue to rise. What would you like to say to your supporters?
I would like to say thank you to all my fans and supporters without y’all I wouldn’t be who I am today in the music industry. Because of y’all I am able to continue blowing up and getting bigger as an artist and label owner.
What advice would you have for anyone who aspires to enter the entertainment industry?
I would say to anyone who’s interested in being an artist to believe in yourself even when nobody else will. And you definitely gotta perfect your craft and learn the business.
