Overcoming Adversity. An essay by Joseph Patrick Fair.

If humans are the clay, your higher power is the sculpture then life must possess some change and change can be difficult. If we resist change then we are not participating in life with fearless courage.

If we face and overcome adversity with courage then we are living life from a dynamic that surrenders creativity of our life experience to our higher power. If a person

accepts that their higher power created all then the power of creativity is in the correct actor/server balance.

The problem in life is not how to overcome adversity. The problem in life is how to live in a manner that accepts that life must contain some level of Adversity. To overcome the proper percentage is a necessary mission of living. Also taking ownership of one’s life, the good and the bad is a necessary component of a resilient life.

If adversity is coded as an opportunity to grow as a person then facing adversity is a good life experience. If adversity is coded as trouble then facing adversity is a bad life experience. If overcoming adversity is a sign of strength then by definition running for adversity must be a sign of weakness. If the only path to strength and greatness is through adversity then the Person must surrender the outcome of their life to their higher power.

During a struggle with a heavy period of adversity, most people feel like they're at rock bottom in life. This new perspective seeds the growth necessary for the next journey of their soul. Many journeys of the soul are cyclical in nature with similarity of structure. With different truths to learn with broader definitions of clarity. Most people would like to learn a lesson then put that on a shelf. The higher power's plan involves the cyclical process of reinvestment of depth and width necessary to make a person the champion of their destiny.
