THE GOTHAMS ANNOUNCE AWARD NOMINEES FOR 34TH EDITION
Best Feature Nominations go to Anora, Babygirl, Challengers, A Different Man, and Nickel Boys
The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced today the nominations for the 34th edition of The Gothams, singling out 39 feature films and 25 performances in nine award categories. The nominations were announced via social media.
“We are proud to announce the nominees for The Gothams, selected by nominating committees who bring their independent perspective to the selection process. This year’s nominations celebrate voices from across the globe, embodying the growing embrace of international cinema by audiences everywhere. We look forward to celebrating our nominees and our Gotham tributes in a few weeks,” said Sharp.
The Gothams provides early recognition and media attention for outstanding and groundbreaking storytellers, including writers, directors, producers and actors.
Nominees are selected by committees of film critics, journalists, festival programmers, and film curators. Separate juries of writers, directors, actors, producers, editors, and other film industry professionals will determine the final recipients of The Gothams.
The Gothams Tributes, which will also be presented at the ceremony and are the organization’s highest honors celebrating outstanding achievement in film. The Tributes recognize the industry’s most accomplished creators and performers whose work has made an indelible impact on both the art form and popular culture.
The 2024 Gothams will be held live and in person at 7 pm on Monday, December 2nd at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Tammy Reese began her career as a theater actress performing in 60 live stage shows a year with The Media Unit TV and Stage Production Company. She also directed the weekly live TV show Rough Times Live.
Eventually, she went to Empire State College to obtain her degree in media studies. After graduation, she did more theater and wrote and produced her own videos to spread awareness on social issues through the arts.
