The Governors Ball, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ official post-Oscars® celebration, will return for its 66th year, immediately following the 97th Oscars ceremony on Sunday, March 2, 2025. This highly anticipated event will take place in the Ray Dolby Ballroom on the top level of Ovation Hollywood, providing a fabulous setting for the evening’s honorees, nominees, and industry leaders to gather and celebrate.
Wolfgang Puck Catering marks its 31st year at the Governors Ball, bringing a world-class culinary experience with a menu crafted by renowned chefs Wolfgang Puck and Eric Klein. The dessert offerings will be elevated by the artistry of pastry chefs Kamel Guechida and Garry Larduinat.
Tequila Don Julio returns once again to the celebration, with acclaimed mixologist Charles Joly leading the cocktail program. In an exciting new collaboration, Joly is joined by the team from Handshake Speakeasy—named the 2024 World’s Best Bar in Mexico City—to create an exclusive selection of signature cocktails. Among the featured drinks will be “The Class Act” made with Tequila Don Julio 1942, “The Clear Winner” featuring Tequila Don Julio Reposado, and “The Thespian,” a sophisticated non-alcoholic option.
For the third consecutive year, Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon wines will be the exclusive red and white wines served at the Governors Ball, as well as other Oscars-related events. Adding to the evening’s refined beverage selection, Champagne Lallier—established in 1906—will make its debut as the official champagne of the Governors Ball and other Oscars celebrations.
The 97th Oscars will be held at the iconic Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be broadcast live on ABC, streamed on Hulu, and aired in over 200 territories worldwide.
