Rather than succumbing to despair, Ware saw an opportunity to channel her energy into making a tangible difference. “I went to school for environmental science, and now I do sustainability consulting,” Ware explained. “I get the chance to do what I love and help educate others about the planet.” From College to Cali Relocating to Los Angeles provided the ideal stage for Ware to launch her environmental crusade. Against the backdrop of LA's sprawling urban landscape and diverse population, she delved into the local sustainability scene. Recognizing the need for a tailored approach that resonated with her millennial peers, Ware aimed to inspire through creativity, collaboration, and positive action.
Addressing issues from pollution to environmental racism, Ware utilizes her online platform, ecobae.co, to provide simple suggestions for complex problems. She sheds light on the interconnectedness of global issues, emphasizing that many conflicts stem from environmental degradation.
The Rise of Eco-Innovation After years of blogging about the state of the environment, Ware established ecobae.co as an eco-innovation hub, uniting like-minded individuals to brainstorm and implement sustainable solutions. This hub quickly became a nexus for environmental enthusiasts, creatives, and entrepreneurs eager to contribute to the cause. Ware fostered a sense of empowerment and showcased tangible results, bridging the gap between passion and action, leading to the birth of eco-friendly startups and initiatives. “I hope they get one tip whenever someone comes to the website,” Ware expressed. “It can be reusing materials, reducing consumption, or not littering anymore.” Collaborations and Partnerships Recognizing the power of collaboration, Ware forged partnerships with local environmental organizations, developing sustainable practices within corporate and community sectors. “It’s a great way to green the communities because it's not only producing fresh produce and healthy options but also encouraging community economics,” Ware highlighted.
